This is a 9 night / 10 day tour that takes in the highlights of Botswana's far north. We spend 2 nights in Xakanaxa in the Moremi Game Reserve (Okavango Delta), 2 nights on the Okavango's Khwai River, 2 nights Savute (Chobe national Park), 2 nights Chobe River front and 1 night in Livingstone, Zambia or Zimbabwe's Victoria Falls.
The tour is fully supported by our team of staff. We take care of all aspects of camp life allowing you to spend most of the day game viewing. Accommodation is in spacious 3 meter by 3 meter dome tents. All meals are included. Breakfasts comprise of cereals and toast, coffee and tea. The vehicles carry a tea box for a mid-morning break. Lunches are light and hearty and dinners are 3 course. Vegetarians welcome!

Expert guides will talk you through the ecology of the various eco systems that we visit and also help you to record your trip by providing information on wildlife photography and or filming wildlife. During the trip, we go out boats on two occassions - once in the Okavango Delta and once on the Chobe River.This classic Elephant Trails safari is our most popular because it offers so much destination wise. Please note that you can add on extra destinations like Central Kalahari, Nxai Pan and Makgadikgadi Pans National Park to make this a complete trip of a life time.
Botswana's Wildlife:
Yellow-billed Storks - Okavango Delta
Botswana is indeed one of the greatest wildlife destinations on the African continent. The various eco systems support a myriad of wildlife from the semi-arid Kalahari to the watery wilderness of the Okavango Delta. There is a good chance to spend time with the big cats like Lion, Leopard and Cheetah as well as the other large mammals like Elephant, Kudu, Giraffe and Buffalo. Bird life abounds too and we often note between 150 to 200 bird species per safari. Reptiles like Crocodiles, Tortoises, Frogs and Snakes can be found.
